Why hire an ISA Certified Arborist as your tree care provider?

Per the ISA: “An arborist by definition is an individual who is trained in the art and science of planting, caring for, and maintaining individual trees. ISA arborist certification is a nongovernmental, voluntary process by which individuals can document their base of knowledge. Certified Arborists are individuals who have achieved a level of knowledge in the art and science of tree care through experience and by passing a comprehensive examination developed by some of the nation’s leading experts on tree care.

Arborists specialize in the care of individual trees. They are knowledgeable about the needs of trees, and are trained and equipped to provide proper care. Hiring an arborist is a decision that should not be taken lightly. Proper tree care is an investment that can lead to substantial returns. Well cared-for trees are attractive and can add considerable value to your property. Poorly maintained trees can be a significant liability. Pruning or removing trees, especially large trees, can be dangerous work. Tree work should be done only by those trained and equipped to work safely in trees.”

Unlike other trades, Florida does not require licensing for tree companies other than a basic occupational license. Hiring an ISA Certified Arborist is your way to know that the person taking care of your trees has adequate experience and knowledge to do so. We are also committed to continuing education and held to national safety and ethics standards. Be aware that “ISA Certified Arborist” is the legally protected term. Beware of companies advertising as “certified arborist” or just “certified”.

Water Service Leak Detection Services

Domestic water leaks from your curb stop at the street to water lines under the slab of your home can be a variety of different material from copper, galvanized to plastic. All of which are subject to leaks. Copper water line leaks are mainly caused by impurities in the soil and water quality that causes erosion in the copper itself creating pinhole leaks. Galvanized water lines are pretty much a thing of the past if you have a leak on the line it is better to replace as the lines are normally so corroded there is always more than one leak.

Plastic water line leaks are normally caused by settling and improper installation such as a sleeve around the water line entering the foundation the rough concrete edge wears a hole right in the plastic. There are a couple ways to go about fixing these leaks spot repairs are normally the simplest option but in some cases it's more cost-effective to replace the whole line depending on the landscape outside the home to decorative tile and hardwood flooring inside the home.
